The 25th birthday was amazing. From Thursday to Monday. Thanks for everyone who showed love that weekend. From Entourage on Thursday through the All Pink on the private charter Sunday. We painted the city Pink. See You Next Year.

Behind the Lens: Dexter Cohen IEI Shoot

Recently awarded "2010's Best Fashion Photographer" at the VA Fashion Awards. What can I say about Dexter D. Cohen the photographer ?? I mean his work pretty much speaks for itself.... maybe in a foreign language, but it speaks...LOUDLY. His competition in VA is obsolete. It was a honor and truly inspiring to work with Dexter on a recent shoot. Again, his craft speaks for itself. Day 29. Currently focusing on making a life, not just a living. Months have passed since the last time we met. I've missed you.... the love is still the same though. Career is taking precedent over all else. Personal life is taking a toll. But those who know....understand. I've been weerkkin people. Anticipation, anxiousness, excitement....even fear has come to visit. Atlanta on a milli in 11 days. Some support....some not so much... good thing we don't care right? Birthdays are for Celebrating Life....

                           "Don't waste your seconds thinking about your next minute."

I'm dedicating this blog entry to all of my angels and to the sanctity of life. My 25th birthday is quickly approaching...11 days to be exact. Chapter 24 ends with self love, lessons learned, love gain and love loss, it ends with hope. Every year I celebrate for those who never made it to there next birthday. More specifically my god sister Holly- who passed away one month shy of her 18th. June 16th, 2010 made 7 years since she passed away. Every day I have had past 18 is one more day than she had. You remind me every morning to wake up and just be grateful for waking up. I toast to you.

My Birthday wishes are as follows:
Remember to live and breath in the moment. Go lay in the grass and look at the sky, kiss your children, tell your friends you love them, tell that guy or girl how you feel about him, have a one night stand, fall in love,be true, be honest, and most importantly don't forget to live. Believe me, you will find your pot of gold just by chasing the rainbow.

Night Angels. What can I say? It was shot on a random wednesday, at a random time, in a random way. (A photo shoot gone wrong because the camera man only bought the video camera, lol, so we made a video) its a product of a creative rainbow and a random rainbow. It came out beautiful. I love it!! I live! One time to @MissTiannah and all the my "glory boxes" who just want to be a woman. (In my Portis Head Voice)
